Yontoo Layers currently works with Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2.x on Windows XP and Vista, as well as Firefox 2.x on Mac OS X. We are currently working on Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 3 compatibility as well as Safari for Mac. The current version of Yontoo Layers works on a limited scale in Firefox 3.

Are the installs for for Internet Explorer and Firefox different
?
Yes. Currently the installs for Internet Explorer and Firefox are different. If you use both browsers and you want to use Yontoo Layers and Layer Apps in both browsers, you will need to install them separately in each browser.

Will changes I make on Internet Explorer show up on Firefox and vise versa
?
Yes, because all of the edits and changes made to the Yontoo Layer are stored in our servers, all of your changes and edits will show up on any browser from any computer. Once we have released Layer Apps that have tools and functionality allowing users to save specific content that is not set to be viewable to the general public, you will need to create an account so that we know what information from our servers to send to your browser.

Is Yontoo Layers free
?
Yes, Yontoo Layers and Yontoo Layer Apps are free for users to download and use. Yontoo does place some small ads in out of the way places to help pay for the cost of development.

Do I need to create an account to use Yontoo Layers
?
No, a user account is not required to download or use Yontoo Layers, however creating an account may be required in the future in order to use certain tools or functionality.

Can other people see the changes I make to the Yontoo Layer on my computer
?
Yes and No; There are some changes you can make such as edits to your MySpace or Facebook page with the PageRage Layer App, but there are other changes such as toggling off customizations on MySpace pages with Sanity Switch that will only change the look within your own browser. In the future there will be Layer Apps that that will allow you to set your edits to be viewable to only the people that you want to see them.
