What Is Yontoo Layers?
Yontoo Layers is an exciting new development in Internet software. It is a browser add-on that creates virtual layers that can be edited to create the appearance of having made changes to the underlying website.
Where Can I Use It?
Yontoo Layers works on any site on the Web, although the functionality comes from separate applications called Layer Apps which provide specific functionalities depending on what site you are on.
What Can I Do With It?
Our latest Layer App is the Buzzdock real-time search engine. Buzzdock gives you the buzz on what you’re searching for. With Buzzdock installed, you’ll get search results from a wealth of social apps right on top of your search engine! It’s the better way to search.
The PageRage Super Profile is another Layer App that enables you to add a virtual graphic layer over your exisiting Facebook profile. No HTML or CSS is needed and PageRage has no effect on the underlying web page.
The first Layer App that we have released is Sanity Switch. It allows you to turn off the modifications of MySpace layout. This enables you to more easily read and obtain the information on MySpace pages when the page has been so modified that it is hard to read.
What Is The Future Of Yontoo Layers?
We have many new Layer Apps under development currently that will be released as quickly as we can get them functional.
Why do my friends need to install Yontoo Layers?
PageRage is a free download and available to any Facebook user. Remember to tell your friends to install Yontoo Layers. They will need to install it as well in order to see your layouts. This is a technical requirement that creates the appearance of having made changes to the underlying website. The actual layouts appear in your web browser and have no direct effect on your Facebook profile underneath.
Create Your Own Facebook Profile Background
If you can't find a layout you like, create your own. The PageRage background feature allows you to upload the graphic or photo of your choice. The image will become a repeat pattern that displays behind your Facebook profile. You become the designer and can customize your Facebook page to your liking.
